Novak Djokovic has been praised by Sue Barker after a classy gesture following his historic Wimbledon win.
The champion handed a young fan his racket at the end of the match.
The BBC presenter said: “He got rid of most of his wardrobe on the other side! Aw to a little girl there. Isn’t that absolutely lovely. That is so special.
“Well done to Novak Djokovic. He’s a class act on court.”
Tim Henman also praised Djokovic’s performances at the tournament telling the BBC: “He’s had a fair amount of practice at speeches after these 20 Grand Slam wins!
“He’s had an incredible tournament. He came in as a huge favourite.
“We didn’t really know what to expect from Roger Federer.
“But Novak’s put in an absolute masterclass throughout the two weeks, only dropped two sets against Jack Draper and first set today. No doubt the best player won this tournament.
