 Andy Murray came through a gruelling five-set classic against Nikoloz Basilashvili to secure his first win at the Australian Open since 2017.

The Scot looked comfortable in the first set, but a familiar pattern ensued as he put his follower through the ringer.

A see-saw of a fifth set eventually saw the 35-year-old triumph as he took the third of three match points.
