Free horse racing tips and best bets from Cazoo Oaks day at Epsom

ZEYAADAH (4.30) is tipped to gallop to glory in today’s Cazoo Oaks at Epsom.

Roger Varian’s filly – who was unbeaten as a juvenile – was second to today’s rival Dubai Fountain in the Cheshire Oaks.

She had to wait for a gap on the home turn and was closing quickly at the line, eventually beaten a length. Zeyaadah was also trying to give 3lb to Dubai Fountain.

Visually, her three wins as a juvenile reeked of stamina even though her pedigree suggests she is not a middle-distance filly (her sire is one-mile specialist Tamayuz).

And although her best form is on soft ground, she won on a quicker surface at Beverley.

Dubai Fountain remains solid each-way value at 12-1 while an even better place proposition at 25-1 is Hollie Doyle’s mount Sherbet Lemon , winner of the Lingfield Oaks Trial.

Aidan O’Brien’s talking horse Santa Barbara looks too short on what she has achieved although the dogs continue to bark at
Ballydoyle, while Snowfall got the run of the race in the Musidora and that is unlikely to happen today.

AL AASY (3.10) is a warm order for the Group One Coronation Cup today – and rightly so.

He has hacked up in two races at Newbury this season and looks the real deal this season.

It will be his first experience of the Epsom contours but he is taken to repel the Aidan O’Brien twin attack of Japan and Mogul.

Japan bounced back to form at Chester and was a close third to Anthony Van Dyck in the 2019 Derby.

Mogul, sixth in last year’s derby, may be better on a more galloping track.

The same applies to Pyledriver who was only 11th in last year’s derby.

Al Aasy is not much of a price considering he is unproven at Group One level but he is fancied to put that right and throw his hat in the ring for top middle distance honours this summer.

Course form can be a huge asset and DATA PROTECTION (3.45) has form figures of 13124 at the track.

He will strip fitter for his return at Chester when a close third and looks a bit overpriced at 9-1 in the Cazoo Handicap. Dream With Me is a big improver and he looks a big danger along with Victory Chime.

There are some speedy types in the Cazoo Woodcote EBF Stakes and preference is for DUSKY PRINCE (2.00) who hit the line strongly when making a winning debut at Brighton. Oscula, Dairein and Flaming Rib all hold claims but Hollie Doyle and Dusky Prince can get the meeting off to a flying start.

IRISH ADMIRAL (2.35) has made a likeable impression since arriving at the yard of William Haggas from John James Feane in Ireland.

He won littler race at Chelmsford before a solid third in a decent York handicap where he travelled like the winner until possibly running out of stamina.

He has been well punted in the Coral Beaten by a Length handicap where Storting and course specialist Corazon Espinado rate among the dangers.

The ITV cameras are there for the first five races but in the final two contests when off air MEHMENTO (5.10) should gain a deserved success in the Play Coral Racing Super Series For Free Surrey Stakes and the strong travelling PAWS FOR THOUGHT (5.40) is fancied to follow up a cosy success at Chester in the Cazoo Derby Festival Handicap.
