West Ham have reportedly reached an agreement with Jack Wilshere to cancel his contract at the club. The Hammers rolled the dice in 2018 by signing Wilshere on a three-year, £100,00-a-week contract despite his injury record.

But in his two years at the club, Wilshere has made just 18 competitive appearances.
Speculation regarding Wilshere’s immediate future at West Ham began during the summer.
But speaking last month, Hammers boss David Moyes indicated that he was planning to use Wilshere for the new campaign.
“I have heard nothing about it,” he said.

“Jack has a year to go, he’s here, I have really enjoyed working with him.
“He has trained through all of his injuries since lockdown, he hasn’t missed a day. He is available for selection.”
However, those comments came before Wilshere rolled his ankle in training for another injury setback before the Carabao Cup game against Charlton.
And The Guardian now claim West Ham have taken the decision to terminate Wilshere’s contract.

While Wilshere no longer has a future at the London stadium, the Hammers are working on bringing in a centre-back in the final hours of the transfer window.
Chelsea’s Fikayo Tomori has emerged as the club’s top target and it’s claimed that West Ham are in talks about a possible loan move.
Antonio Rudiger had looked most likely to be leave Chelsea as he’s fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Frank Lampard currently has five centre-backs at Chelsea following the arrival of Thiago Silva.
But Chelsea have reportedly decided that Rudiger won’t be leaving, meaning Tomori may instead be sent out on loan.
Moyes currently only has three senior options at centre-back in Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena and Angelo Ogbonna.
Diop though has only just returned to full fitness with Aaron Cresswell playing on the left-hand side of a back three.
