West Brom playing hardball over Rayhaan Tulloch amid Rangers interest

West Brom are playing hardball despite their apparent desperation to keep rising star Rayhaan Tulloch.

The England youth international’s deal at The Hawthorns is up in the summer and sources close to the player are stunned by suggestions coming out of the club that he is demanding around £10-15,000-a-week.

Tulloch, 19, has had just two conversations over a new deal – the first in November and the second only a few weeks ago. The figures put forward are understood to be substantially less than the amount put into the public domain.

There are concerns that a picture is being painted to suggest he is holding the Baggies to ransom to absolve the club of any culpability should the two parties fail to agree a deal.

West Brom have already lost a string of highly-ratd players from their academy over the years, including Morgan Rogers, Louie Barry, Jerome Sinclair and Izzy Brown.
