Kasia Lenhardt’s final Instagram post read “now is where you draw the line” with the 25-year-old being found dead this week.
Lenhardt was discovered in her Berlin apartment just a week after she split from Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng.
In a public war of words, former Manchester City star Boateng had said it was time to "draw a line” following the relationship breakdown.
And Lenhardt had used those words in her final Instagram post just a week ago.
Alongside a picture of herself, appearing to gaze into the distance, she wrote: “Now is where you draw the line. Enough.”
Boateng has left Bayern’s World Club Cup squad in Qatar following the news of his former partner’s death.
Bayern manager Hansi Flick said: “Jerome was in my room and asked me to go home. From the club side, we also fulfilled his wish.
"After the corona test, which he also needs to enter Germany, he will travel home and will not be available to us until further notice."
Police are not treating Lenhardt’s death as suspicious with the model leaving behind a son named Noah from a previous relationship.
A police spokesman said: "Yesterday at around 8.30 pm there was a police operation in Charlottenburg on suspicion of suicide.
"A lifeless person was found in the home. There are no indications of third-party involvement."
Lenhardt death was confirmed by her friend Sara Kulka who wrote on Instagram: "Rest in peace. You wonderful person, I miss you and would have loved to say goodbye.
