Tottenham take on Manchester City this weekend, with both teams aiming to get off to a perfect start for the 2021/2022 campaign. Pep Guardiola’s side heads to north London as the Premier League champions once again, while Spurs have a new manager, Nuno Espirito Santo.
Spurs hired the former Wolves boss after dismissing Jose Mourinho last season.
Tottenham fans are hoping for a fresh start under Santo, after a difficult period with the former boss.
They could also see £23million winger Bryan Gil for the first time, after he arrived from Sevilla during the summer.
It will be a new look Tottenham, after the departures of Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela and Danny Rose.
City, meanwhile, are still hoping to sign Spurs striker Harry Kane before the end of the transfer window.
Kane will be available for selection against City on Sunday, although he’s not expected to take part.
There could be a Premier League debut for £100m midfielder Jack Grealish.
But it will also be City’s first Premier League fixture without club legend Sergio Aguero on their books for the first time since 2011.

City are the favourites to come out on top in north London this weekend.
Spurs are out to 4/1 to pick up three points against the Citizens, according to the latest odds.
City are also the firm favourites to win the Premier League title this season, for the fourth time in five seasons.
Tottenham are hoping to regain their place in the top four this season, but are still behind Leicester City and Arsenal in the pecking order.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom told Express Sport: “It’s hard to look past a Manchester City win at 13/20 as they begin their title defence in north London. Nuno Espirito Santo could not have imagined a more difficult opening match as Tottenham manager, but at 4/1 to win, you just never know in football, while a draw is 16/5.
“Harry Kane only returned to first-team training on Friday after coming back from holiday, so Heung-min Son could lead the line and is 12/5 to score anytime against a City side that started last season slowly.
“In fact, you could go one better by backing Son to score and Jack Grealish, City’s new £100million man, to register an assist at 8/1.
“With no Sergio Aguero, the onus could be on Gabriel Jesus to fire in the goals for City and he is priced at 6/4 to score anytime.”
