The track is currently number four in the UK music charts and is expected to rise even further should England come out on top tomorrow evening against Italy.
'Three Lions' is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary and has proven to be a popular anthem for England supporters once again at a major tournament.
In the years since its debut in 1996, the track has seen multiple releases and is the only song in existence to have become the UK number one four separate times with the same artists.
It had two one-week stints at the top of the charts in 1996, three straight weeks for the 1998 remake, and again during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
When England reached semi-finals in Russia, the track was streamed 1.3m times in a day. Even after suffering a narrow defeat to Croatia, it was streamed 9.7 million times.
Since its release in 1996, ‘Three Lions’ has notched up over 1.2 million chart sales, including 39 million streams.
