Richard Madeley has been slammed by fans for another remark he has made to one of England's Lionesses.
The Good Morning Britain presenter was criticised earlier this week after an awkward moment during Chloe Kelly's appearance on the breakfast show. Kelly's team-mate Alessia Russo, who scored four goals during the Women's Euros, was interviewed by Madeley on Wednesday morning, but his questioning has been labelled "patronising" and "inappropriate" by viewers.
Viewers were left particularly uncomfortable after the 66-year-old broadcaster asked: "How are you feeling? It's three days on now. If I was your dad and asked you that – 'how are you feeling love' – what would you say?"

Despite the awkward question, Russo answered: "It's something we have been waiting for in women's football for a long time." The Lionesses won their first major tournament at Wembley Stadium with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Germany.
However, viewers were quick to take to social media to slam Madeley for his remark and style of questioning, with one tweeting: "Watching #GMB on plus one and I'm watching the interview with Alessia Russo. How patronising is Madeley? He's talking to these girls like they did well in a primary school play.”
Another added: "Richard Madeley talking to Women's footballers is one of the most cringe things on TV. I feel for these ladies having to discuss a huge moment in their lives, with this clueless, patronising numpty."

A third viewer also wrote: "If I was your Dad, and asked you that, what would you say? What is Richard on about?? Richard 'who’s your daddy' Madeley #GMB @AccidentalP (obviously).”
Meanwhile, one more noted: "Richard Madeley just said to Alessia Russo, 'how you feeling love?' Good grief! How inappropriate. #GMB @GMB."
Madeley had come under fire on Tuesday after speaking to match-winner Kelly on the show, with fans blasting him for awkwardly deciding to call her "Coco" instead of "Chloe".
