Real Madrid could be backed into an awkward position if they manage to pull off two of their ambitious deadline day plans. With a deal for Eduardo Camavinga set to be completed today, Carlo Ancelotti and co. would be forced into a squad re-shuffle to make room for Kylian Mbappe if they could finally tempt PSG into a sale, according to reports.
With a deal for Camavinga extremely close, the youngster would become the 25th member of Los Blancos’ squad, the upper limit of what is permitted by La Liga regulations.
Having made a huge impression at Rennes, Camavinga has been a man in demand this summer, while the cash-strapped Ligue 1 side were always likely to sell at the right price.
Madrid are reportedly prepared to pay £25million once the teenager passes his deadline day medical, a reasonable price for a midfielder tipped to have a massive future.
Manchester United also showed a strong interest earlier this summer, although talks were described as discouraging after it emerged that he dreamt of the Bernabeu instead.

Crucially for Madrid, a squad packed to the rafters would leave no room for Kylian Mbappe if they beat the odds and send PSG an offer they could not refuse.
According to AS, peripheral figures such as Mariano and Jesus Vallejo would be the most likely to make way in the event of Mbappe’s blockbuster signing.
Where the former could tempt clubs in the market for a young, cut-price striker, the latter has brief history in the Premier League with Wolves.
Madrid’s fire sale would only be spurred into action if, of course, PSG gave the green light on Mbappe’s departure, and based on events so far, it is a big ‘if’.

Rumours have simmered all summer regarding the possibility of the 22-year-old getting his dream move, but PSG have refused to play ball thus far.
On Monday, there was talk of an astronomical £171million bid being prepared at the Bernabeu, although that is yet to materialise.
The French side’s position has been remarkably stubborn, given the youngster will be out of contract in a year’s time and at liberty to move for free.
It is no secret that Mbappe’s heart is, and always has been, set on Madrid, so his departure from the Parc des Princes is more a matter of if, not when.
Recouping a humongous transfer fee in the process seems logical, although the immovable object in PSG so far remains… unmoved.
Despite a mountain of debt building up behind the scenes, Los Blancos are clearly intent on blowing the rest of La Liga out of the water this campaign amid a general feeling that domestic success is up for grabs.
Atletico Madrid only edged the league title last year, while Barcelona are likely to suffer given the exit of Lionel Messi and the behind-the-scenes stresses which marred their summer.
With the glory days of the division behind them, Mbappe’s arrival could bring more than a hint of star power back into the picture. Madrid will be forced to work some magic on their own squad if they are to make that happen, however.
