Rangers have sensationally booked their spot in the Europa League final after overcoming RB Leipzig on Thursday evening.
The hosts got off to the perfect start at Ibrox with James Tavernier tapping home from close range to send the crowd into pandemonium. Then, minutes later, the Ibrox faithful was sent into hysteria as Glen Kamara scored superbly from outside the box to turn the tie on its head.
It could’ve been 3-0 before the half-hour mark but Aribo fluffed his lines just yards out, failing to get a proper connection on the ball to put Rangers in complete control.
Leipzig were left to chase for large parts of the game but they got back into the tie with 20 minutes left on the clock thanks to Christopher Nkunku.
The Frenchman, one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers, made it 2-2 on aggregate with a neat volley.
But it was Rangers who would have the last laugh, with John Lundstram tapping the ball into the back of the net after a clearance off the line, booking their spot in the Europa League final.
