Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang subjected to odd outburst from Real Madrid star Kroos

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been the subject of a bizarre attack by Real Madrid ’s Toni Kroos – due to his pre-planned celebrations.

Aubameyang has never been afraid to think outside the box when it comes to celebrating his goals – including pulling out a Black Panther mask on occasions after finding the net.

The celebrations have previously gone viral on social media – but not everyone is a fan.

German star Kroos has branded such celebrations as “nonsense” and “silly” in a recent podcast.

He even went as far as to accuse Aubameyang of “not being a good role model” by pre-planning his celebrations.

“If there are rehearsed dances or choreographies, I find it very silly,” Kroos told his Einfach mal Luppen podcast via Sport Bild.

“Even worse is if there are any objects hidden in their socks.

“Aubameyang once celebrated and took out a mask. That's where it ends with me.

“I don't think that's a good role model, either. What nonsense.

“What I always found sweet was Gerd Muller. He just jumped up, pulled up his pants. That was real joy, nothing big.”

Asked about his Black Panther celebration and the mask he pulled out in Arsenal ’s 4-3 win over Rennes last season, Aubameyang explained the importance of the item.

“I needed a mask which represents me and that's the Black Panther. In Gabon, we call the national team the Panthers,” he said after the game.

Aubameyang has been unable to celebrate in recent weeks with Arsenal struggling for goals.

And he has also admitted he feels more responsibility having become captain of the club.

“I think [I have changed], yeah,” he told Arsenal’s official matchday programme. “Because you feel a lot of responsibilities and I think I am trying to give everything in every single game.

“I think before maybe, I don't know, it was not done on purpose but maybe sometimes I was a little bit less concerned on certain games.

"But now I am just focusing on every game and trying to give my best. Even if I'm on the bench I try to scream and help my team-mates, so yeah I think it's changed me.

“I think this is really important because sometimes you can also have bad days and be in a bad mood, so you have to try to change it into positive things.

"This is where I am, how can I say, it's easy for me to make people maybe happier: to lift them up and that's my job. I can say that's my job but I do it naturally.

“I just have to be the example for everyone. If I have to go to the gym to do the upper body I have to go first, then everyone will follow. Because the guys in the gym are waiting and say, ‘If you come then everyone will come! You know that!' So I say 'OK, OK' so now I am the first to go to the gym, this is it.”
