Jose Mourinho has taken his latest swipe at Welsh international, Gareth Bale, after accusing the former Tottenham loanee of poor performances last campaign.
Bale spent last season on loan at Tottenham, where he played under Mourinho until the Portuguese manager was relieved of his duties in early May.
Mourinho has since taken over the helm at Roma, whereas Bale has returned to Real Madrid – amid speculation he could hang up his boots following the Euros this summer.
And when previewing each country chances for the tournament – for The Sun – Mourinho has taken his latest swipe at Bale.
"Over the years Wales have relied a lot on Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, the two most talented players in the country," he previewed for The Sun.
"When we look to Gareth and how many great performances he had, how many goals he scored against the best teams, there were not many or none.
"It’s not an easy situation for a country without many options."
Bale found the net 11 times last season, however, five of those came in the final weeks of the season – including a hat-trick against an already relegated Sheffield United.
