Liverpool fans were left in awe of Mohamed Salah's work rate that could have saved the points for the Reds on Tuesday evening.
With Ajax on the counter-attack in their Champions League clash on Tuesday evening, Salah was forced to bust a gut to get back and help his side. Salah was there in the nick of time to stop an easy opportunity for the Amsterdam side.
And after his poor start to the season, Liverpool fans were ecstatic to see the hunger back in the eyes of Salah. The Egyptian even managed to find the net as he broke the deadlock at Anfield.

One fan said: "And people are saying he hasn’t been bothered since he signed his contract! He is playing for the team!"
"People were really asking if he cares about playing for Liverpool since signing the new contract," a second joked. While a third added: "I pray Trent [Alexander-Arnold] even does half of that."

However, a fourth pointed out: "He’s been doing this all season. Most counterattacks he’s one of the first back even though it’s not his job to defend. Always puts the work in!"
Liverpool were pegged back by the Dutch champions after Salah scored – and it looked as though the Reds were heading for a disappointing draw.
However, Joel Matip stepped up in the 89th minute to nod home – with help from the goal decision system – to hand the Reds their first European points of the season.
