Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Donny van de Beek in January as the Manchester United midfielder desperately tries to end his Old Trafford nightmare.
The £35million outcast is desperate to leave after making just four Premier League starts under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since arriving from Ajax in the summer of 2020.
Van de Beek is well down the pecking order at United and finds himself on the periphery of the squad behind the likes of Fred, Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic.

He is desperately looking to move to a new club and Barcelona could reportedly be his next destination with the Spanish giants desperately trying to improve their squad in January.
According to Spanish newspaper SPORT, the Catalan giants are interested in signing the former Ajax midfielder but their dire financial situation means they would probably only be able to do a loan deal in the January window.
Barcelona are desperate for more attacking involvement from their midfield and, at Ajax, Van de Beek scored 41 goals and contributed 34 assists in 175 appearances.
He would also be reunited with Frenkie de Jong. The duo forged a sublime midfield combination during Ajax’s memorable run to the Champions League semi-finals in 2019.
Sportsmail revealed last week that Van de Beek’s Manchester United team-mates even advised him to change agent in a bid to force a move out of Old Trafford.

Van de Beek had hoped that former agent Guido Albers would have secured him a transfer away from the club by now and, after conversations with others in the dressing-room, sources say the Dutch international was persuaded to hire a new agent.
The 24-year-old has now signed up with Ali Dursun, who looks after United defender Victor Lindelof, as well as Holland team-mate De Jong.
There is expected to be huge interest in Van de Beek in January, though, with some Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on developments.
Sportsmail understands conversations with Everton and Wolves had taken place in recent weeks with a view to a January loan move, although his new agent may now have different ideas.
