Manchester United target Boubacar Kamara is apparently demanding £150,000 a week to quit Marseille and move to the Premier League. The 22-year-old has less than six months remaining on his current deal in France and could land a free transfer in the summer.
Kamara, who can play at centre-back or as a defensive midfielder, has been a regular for Marseille since making his Ligue 1 debut in 2017.
The young star has racked-up 144 appearances for his current team, with 16 of those coming in the Europa League.
He also made five Champions League appearances last season.
Kamara has been in scintillating form for Marseille once again this season but has refused to put pen-to-paper on a new deal in France.
And that has alerted clubs in England, with the Red Devils said to be keen on the player.

But the 13-times Premier League champions face competition from Newcastle and West Ham if they are to sign the France under-21 ace.
Kamara’s current contract situation means all three clubs are now allowed to speak to the player to attempt to thrash out a deal for next season.
But his hefty wage demands, as reported by The Sun, could prove to be a huge stumbling block.
While the six-figure weekly wages wouldn’t necessarily raise eyebrows at Old Trafford, they would likely see him become the highest paid player at either Newcastle or West Ham if he opted for a move to one of those sides.

Meanwhile, the Hammers could see Kamara as the perfect replacement for the ageing David Noble.
David Moyes’ side are fifth in the Premier League table and have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League this season.
In the north west, the Red Devils are facing huge issues as they struggle for form under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
The German has won just three of his six games in charge and saw his team lose 1-0 at home to Wolves in the Premier League on Monday.
The defensive midfield area has been a problem for United this season – so Rangnick could feel Kamara is the perfect player to come in and help shore up the backline.
