Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has hailed his team-mates and the club’s supporters after the club’s 3-0 win over Watford on Sunday. The Portugal international was the star of the show as the Red Devils racked up an impressive win over Nigel Pearson’s side.
Manchester United saw Fernandes put in his best display yet as Watford were easily brushed aside at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international opened the scoring from the penalty spot before playing a key role in Anthony Martial’s goal.
Fernandes also provided the assist for Mason Greenwood’s fine strike – which came days after he assisted Harry Maguire’s thunderbolt header against Chelsea.
And, speaking after the game, he hailed both his team-mates and the club’s supporters for making him feel right at home.
“I feel good about this,” he told the club’s official website.

“The fans are amazing and they give me more confidence to play and be happy when I play, but also part of this is from my team-mates.
“They help me a lot, they give me a lot of confidence, they trust in me and that is the most important for me.”
When it comes to signing attacking players in recent years, United have seen many struggle.
Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao never lived up to expectations upon joining in 2014.
Memphis Depay touched down a year later but he, too, was more of a flop than a hit.

And United didn’t ever see the best of Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan throughout their spells at Old Trafford.
Fernandes, though, already looks like he’ll be money well spent.
And he was praised by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after terrorising Watford on Sunday afternoon.
“A very good win, two good wins and two clean sheets, some goals to celebrate, now we want to kick on,” the 46-year-old said.
“I thought first half we started by gifting them some good opportunities and gradually we created more and more chances.
“Bruno Fernandes is quicker than he looks. Very excited by having him in.
“He has come in, given everyone a boost and wants to conduct a game. There are big games coming up now.
“The thing that matters in football is scoring goals and that is what Mason Greenwood does.”
Fernandes is expected to feature when United face Club Brugge in the second leg of their Europa League round of 32 clash on Thursday (8pm).
The first leg finished 1-1 in Belgium with Martial rescuing a draw for the Red Devils.
