Manchester United kept their top four hopes alive with a 3-0 victory over Watford on Sunday.
Bruno Fernandes, who registered his first assist in the win over Chelsea on Monday, proved good value for money again as he won United a penalty in the first half. The £46million signing got up and took it himself, coolly converting past former United goalkeeper Ben Foster.
United looked to have been pegged back early on in the second half when Troy Deeney bundled the ball home. But the goal was chalked off by VAR due to a Craig Dawnson handball in the build up.
The hosts needed no further warnings and doubled their lead shortly after. Fernandes fed in Martial down the left whose initial shot was saved.
But receiving the rebound Martial showed composure to drag the ball back and cheekily chip over Foster and into the Stretford End net.
Fernandes played provider once again teeing up Greenwood on the edge of the box who made no fuss of his shot, smashing home with his left foot from the edge of the box.
It was yet another clean sheet for United who, with the return of Scott McTominay and Mason Greenwood, only look like getting stronger.
