Manchester United fans are convinced Scott McTominay's form during the international break will help them land hotshot Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The Scotland midfielder scored twice in an emphatic 2-0 over Spain on Tuesday days after bagging a brace in a 3-0 win over Cyprus to help fire his country to the top of their Euro 2024 qualifying group.
Red Devils supporters leaped onto social media to sing his praises, with a number of them suggesting his form over the past week will have convinced Newcastle to spend big on him in the summer.

"Ooooh we are so getting Osimhen in the summer, Newcastle are gonna fund it by giving us £50m for McTominay," one fan tweeted.
"McTominay bagging a brace against Spain should bump his price up for Newcastle this summer," another wrote. While a third commented: "Newcastle dropping £50m on McTominay confirmed."
A Scotland supporter added: "Manchester United fans can say what they want but McTominay will finish his career as a Scottish midfield legend. What a game he's having. This boy needs the Newcastle switch for his own good. That will also be good for the Manchester United."

Erik ten Hag is in the market for a new centre forward following the mid-season departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, and Napoli's Osimhen is one of his primary targets, alongside Tottenham's Harry Kane and Benfica's Goncalo Ramos.
Osimhen has been on fire in Serie A this season, netting 21 goals in 23 league games so far and helping fire the club to the brink of their first championship victory since the days of Diego Maradona.
The Nigerian is expected to fetch a price upwards of £100m should Napoli let him leave, though if McTominay's move to Newcastle funds half of that sum, United will be dancing.
