Manchester United fans are at loggerheads on social media after reports emerged suggesting David de Gea will make way for Dean Henderson as the club's No.1 goalkeeper next season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a tough decision to make over his first-choice shot-stopper this summer, with Henderson and De Gea unlikely to settle for a backup role in the 2021/22 campaign.
The former, 24, returned from a loan spell at Sheffield United to serve as an understudy for De Gea last season, only making 13 Premier League appearances and another 13 in other competitions.
However, Solskjaer is under pressure to give him more first-team opportunities next season – or risk pushing him away from the club.
Fortunately for Henderson, Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst, speaking on the Manchester Is Red podcast, has suggested De Gea is the more likely of the two to depart on loan this summer, leaving him free to take United's No.1 spot.
That news has sparked a mixed reaction amongst the Red Devils faithful, who are divided over their goalkeeping dilemma ahead of the new season.

Some have welcomed the idea of Henderson replacing De Gea at Old Trafford, with one responding to the report on Twitter: "As he should".
Another commented: "Just understand prime De Gea is no more. You guys always rely on his past to compare him to Henderson. He’s been poor for sometime now. No serious club will have de Gea as no 1 now."
A third said: "Because he’s our best keeper".
While one simply posted: "The new era has begun."
Not all United fans are behind Henderson, nevertheless, expressing their concern at De Gea's rumoured departure – which is expected to be on loan as a result of the Spaniard's hefty £375,000-a-week salary.
One put: "[Henderson] shouldn't even be at Man United. I know he's a first team player but he is no way close to prime De Gea".
