Thomas Partey to Arsenal
Arsenal are showing interest in Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
That’s according to Libertad Digital, who claim Mikel Arteta’s side are prepared to trigger his buyout clause this summer.
Partey, 26, joined Diego Simeone’s Champions League contenders as a teenager and has since cemented his role in the middle of the park.
Now, Arsenal have reportedly contacted his agent and are prepared to meet his £42million release clause.
Edinson Cavani to Manchester United
Manchester United should sign Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani.
That’s according to Robin van Persie, who believes the Uruguayan is a ‘goal machine’ and could bag over 25 goals each season.
Cavani, who earns an astonishing £360,000 a week and will demand similar from his next club, is set to leave the Parc des Princes after seven trophy-laden seasons and 200 goals for PSG.
“Edinson Cavani. I would definitely go for Cavani; he’s very fit, he’s a proven goalscorer, a goal machine, he has proven it at Napoli, PSG and Uruguay,” RVP told SPORTbible.
“With him, if he starts, he will get you 25 goals a season. I’ve watched him play, I’ve played against him, he is like a proper goalscorer. He lives by scoring goals so I’d go for him.”

Mauro Icardi to Chelsea
Chelsea are monitoring Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
Icardi, 27, joined PSG on a season-long loan where he’s scored 19 goals in 29 appearances but is reportedly unsure about making the transfer permanent.
“I don’t know if next year we will live in Milan or Paris,” his wife and agent Wanda Nara told Chi Magazine. “In football you never know what will happen.”
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea will compete with Real Madrid and Juventus for his signature next season.
Jadon Sancho deal
Liverpool have been tipped to complete a transfer for Jadon Sancho but only if one of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino leave Anfield this summer.
The England international is widely expected to leave Borussia Dortmund with Manchester United also interested.
On a recent episode of The Agenda podcast, Caoimhe O’Neill discussed what it would take for Liverpool to seal a deal for Sancho though.
She said: “You feel like if Sancho was to move to Liverpool, it would have to be at a cost of losing Firmino, Mane or Salah, because Liverpool are quite precise in the transfer window.”
