Manchester United and Chelsea target Moussa Dembele received a brutal review live on French TV during Lyon’s 1-0 win over Juventus in the Champions League.
Dembele, 23, was heavily linked with both United and the Blues in the January transfer window, but Lyon were determined to keep hold of their star striker until the end of the season at least.
The Frenchman has bagged 20 goals in 38 appearances this term, meaning he is now attracting interest from two of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
He played 90 minutes in Lyon’s narrow triumph over Juventus on Wednesday night, yet failed to get on the scoresheet.

And during the victory, former Monaco star Bruno Irles took aim at Dembele live on French TV.
The pundit does not believe he has what it takes to play at the highest level, casting doubt over a potential switch to United or Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
“Yes, Moussa Dembele is a good striker for Ligue 1 but when the level rises we see his shortcomings,” he said on the Late Football Club.

“We do not see a big strength that means he can aspire to an international level.
“He's not quick enough for the top level. In terms of explosiveness, and also in the way he dribbles, he's not at that top level.”
Dembele has brief Premier League experience, nevertheless, after making two appearances for Fulham back in the 2013/14 campaign.

And amid reported interest from England, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas publicly expressed his desire to keep the player last month.

“Moussa Dembele will not leave because he wants to stay and win something with OL,” he said.
