Manchester United made a number of late signings but it is Diallo that has reportedly left club staff brimming with exciting given his immense potential.

It is a significant outlay on Diallo, a player who has had around 30 minutes worth of experience in Serie A to date.

The youngster made his debut for the Serie A side last season and was part of the club’s squad for their Champions League quarter-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has looked to bring the age of the squad down since arriving and he has largely managed to do it.

Diallo would not be the only teenager in the first team squad with Mason Greenwood, 19, thriving on the right of United’s attack.
