Lucky punter turns £1 into over £4,000 by predicting all 15 Scottish Cup results

A mystic punter has managed to turn a measly quid into more than £4,000 after correctly predicting all 15 Scottish Cup results on Saturday.

The Ladbrokes customer ingeniously anticipated 12 winners and three matches to draw on an accumulator with bonkers odds of 4,293/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "We're amazed at just how simple our plucky punter has made this monster acca look. No late goals, no dramatic comebacks, just 15 games going exactly how the customer wanted them to… and they're over £4k better off as a result. Incredible stuff."

The unnamed punter was saved by a late Queen's Park equaliser against Hamilton, but other than their picks were fairly comfortable winners, having backed favourites Stirling, Kilmarnock, Partick, Falkirk, Morton, St Johnstone, Dundee, Ross County, St Mirren, Livingstone and Queen of the South.

The only sizeable gamble, other than the three draws, was predicting Arbroath's victory over Airdrieonians, which had odds of 5/6.
