Security at the Champions League final has been slammed as “shambolic” after reports claimed ticketless fans had made their way into the stadium. Liverpool will take on Real Madrid at the Stade de France on Saturday night. 

Pundits and journalists attempting to make their way into the Stade de France for the Champions League final reported chaotic scenes at security gates with reports suggesting ticketless fans had managed to make their way into the stadium. 

Sky Sports pundit Kelly Kates tweeted: “Absolutely shambolic at the Stade de France. No way in, no way of knowing which way to go. Stay safe if you’re heading in It has the potential to be very dangerous.”

French outlet RMC Sport claimed that “hundreds” of fans had managed to get past security and into the stadium despite not having tickets for the match.
