Liverpool are set to re-sign physiotherapist Christopher Rohrbeck, two years after he initially left Anfield.
The German is said to be very popular in the dressing room, and his return, that has been orchestrated by Jurgen Klopp, is said to have been wanted at Liverpool for a 'considerable period'. According to The Athletic, Rohrbeck worked closely with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
Rohrbeck originally joined Liverpool in 2017, and he was part of the backroom staff as the Reds reached back-to-back Champions League finals. The report also suggests Klopp ramped up his pursuit of the physio after Fabinho's injury against Aston Villa.
The Reds have played in every possible game they could have this season as their pursuit for an unprecedented quadruple continues.
Klopp's side have already swept up the Carabao Cup and FA Cup and Manchester City's draw with West Ham has given then a glimmer of hope in the Premier League.
The Reds still have to win their remaining two games and hope for another City slip against Villa.

Liverpool also face the tricky challenge of Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
However, the amount of games Liverpool have played has started to take its toll on the side.
Fabinho missed the FA Cup final due to a hamstring issue, and both Salah and Van Dijk were forced off the field with injuries during Saturday's clash.
