Liverpool fans have slammed their club's new away kit after it was showcased for the first time by the Premier League title challengers.
The Reds have once again partnered with Nike for their new jerseys for the upcoming campaign. And they will wear a totally new kit when they're on their travels, with Liverpool releasing a video on Tuesday to release the top to fans for the first time.
They claim that it is a 'dizzying' design that has been inspired by Merseyside's music scene, with the shirt carrying a multi-coloured spiral pattern. But the kit has disappointed supporters, many of whom took to social media to slam Nike's efforts.
Liverpool icon John Arne Riise told he "looks like a bouncer" in BBC Euros coverage
One fan fumed: "This actually hurts to look at." Another wrote: "Not sure who designs these kits they need their heads wobbling, absolute woeful." While a third slammed it as: "Even worse than the yellow kit last year."
Another added: "I thought my screen glass was broken and hence the distortion in the shirt graphics, but when I saw the pic got to know the jersey itself has it. What a disaster kit." While a fifth said: "PAIN what a downgrade."
A sixth fan had a simple message of: "Well this is horrendous." Another fan compared it to a 'magic eye': "Nope…..it's like a magic eye picture….if you stare at it long enough you can see a sailboat, don't like it."

Despite the intense backlash, Liverpool will wear the kit for the first time when they face Manchester United in their first pre-season game on Tuesday. While supporters are not enamoured with the shirt, captain Jordan Henderson is a fan.
“We’re excited for the fans to see the new away kit from Nike. It’s not often we get to wear a jersey on the day of the reveal, so it will be a special moment for the squad to show off the new design in our first pre-season fixture,” he said.
