Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 Cologne: Chelsea target Kai Havertz moves home side one step closer to securing Champions League football

Kai Havertz continued to advertise himself by helping Bayer Leverkusen take one step closer to Champions League football after beating Cologne 3-1 in the Rhine derby.

The 21-year-old, who has been linked to Chelsea, added to his tally with a 39th minute finish from the penalty box after being left unattended. 

The result puts Cologne on tenterhooks as their future in the Bundesliga is not yet certain.
