Koulibaly and Fofana told they ‘look like Chuckle Brothers’ after Chelsea mess

Chelsea fans labelled Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana as the "Chuckle Brothers" after gifting Dinamo Zagreb the opening goal in their Champions League encounter.

The Blues had started the better, with new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang going close on a couple of occasions. But that early promise was undone on 15 minutes when Koulibaly and Fofana combined to gift Zagreb the lead.

Koulibaly, a £33million signing from Napoli in the summer, sold himself against Zagreb forward Bruno Petkovic on the halfway line, going in for a header that he was never going to win. Petkovic won the ball, and his deft flick played in Mislav Orsic, who went up against Fofana in a foot race.

Despite starting ahead of Orsic, Fofana allowed the Croatian forward to get ahead of him and race towards goal, where he poked a wonderful right-footed finish beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga to give Zagreb a surprise 1-0 lead.

Chelsea's defending would not have gone down well with Thomas Tuchel in the dugout, and Blues fans didn't think much of it either.
