Jurgen Klopp is one of Europe’s most coveted managers – but he won’t be leaving Liverpool anytime soon.
The charismatic German joined the Reds in 2015 and signed a new six-year contract in July 2016, which was then extended until 2024 before Christmas.
However, it was initially feared that he’d pack his bags in 2022 and possibly head to Spain.
But according to The Athletic , it was his wife – Ulla – who helped convince him to remain on Merseyside.
It’s suggested she loves Merseyside and enjoys a relatively normal life with her husband in England.
Klopp is also reportedly wary of managing either Real Madrid or Barcelona given that he doesn’t speak Spanish.

Liverpool have gone from strength to strength under his careful leadership.
They won the Champions League last season and now look almost certain to bag Premier League glory this term.
Klopp’s men are a staggering 22 points clear of Manchester City in second spot.
His expensively-assembled squad had to work hard to grind out a 3-2 win over West Ham on Monday, though.
"The Champions League final [against Tottenham ] helped a lot to know we are able to [keep winning],” he said after the match.
"I said after, it was the worst final I played with a team but we won! We learned in that season to do the right things again and again.
"It's a long time ago but we had to work on that – consistency, staying in the game, using different situations.
"The set-pieces brought us back tonight. Getting the momentum back again – because we had a couple after each other. There were so many things we could do better but to reach this number of games, you cannot be brilliant all the time.

"We just try to make the best of what we have.
“I am pleased with the attitude we showed. We lost a little bit of patience in the first half with what we did offensively.
"We wanted it a little too much, but we were forced to stay calm.
