Jude Bellingham drops f-bomb to Erling Haaland in post-match hug and chat

Jude Bellingham’s post-match reaction encapsulates everybody’s current feelings towards Erling Haaland.

The 19-year-old Englishman nodded Borussia Dortmund into an early second half lead against Manchester City. Considering the unusual bluntness and lack of precision from Pep Guardiola’s side, the former Birmingham City ace looked like he may have nabbed the winning goal for the Bundesliga giants.

That was until John Stones’ 80th minute thunderbolt was imminently followed by an almost superhuman goal from City’s imperious No.9. And nobody could have summed up Haaland’s devastating contributions this season more than Bellingham.

At the end of the contest, Bellingham embraced the towering Norwegian in the centre of the pitch. As former teammates do, they both shared a laugh and a joke in the middle of the Etihad Stadium before sealing their brief reunion with a hug.

However, Bellingham could be heard uttering the words “for f*** sake mate” during their interaction. He has certainly not been the only one dropping F-bombs since Haaland joined the Citizens.

A petrifying, goal-scoring inevitability seems to be following the Leeds born striking sensation at all times and his strike against Dortmund was the perfect example of how unstoppable he has become. Dortmund are not the only side to lead Manchester City for the bulk of 90 minutes only for Haaland and co to suddenly flip the contest around within minutes.

"It was not one of those games where you can get on the ball and have loads of possession," Bellingham admitted afterwards. "We knew we'd spend the majority of the game without the ball.

"We were brilliant for 75 minutes but that's enough time for City to put you away. That's what great teams can do.

“You don't give them a sniff and out of nothing they score and tilt the game back in their favour."
