Arsenal hero Jack Wilshere has mocked his own search for a new club by insisting that he hasn't retired in a spoof online video in which he couldn't resist a dig at old rivals Tottenham.
The England international has been keen to spread the message that he hasn't yet called time on his career having left Bournemouth in the summer after two years with West Ham.
Wilshere, who only turned 30 on January 1, feels fit and ready to get back playing at the highest level after spending time training with Arsenal – but he won't be joining Spurs.
Despite making only 16 Premier League appearances across his two full seasons with the Hammers, he made 17 outings for Bournemouth between January and May of 2021.
Starring in Paddy Power's new online ad, Wilshere was been given some jovial tips on how he can find a new club – after some confusion over his retirement status.
The 34 cap former England midfielder reiterated that he has only been out of the game since the summer – before looking into a digital video dossier in order to boost his profile.

Wilshere is then asked to go keepie-uppies for a TikTok video and also eat a sandwich to show that he is 'crisp clean and hungry'.
The skit ends with a fed-up Wilshere telling the camera: "Jack Wilshere. Fit, ready and available for offers… Not Tottenham."
Back in December, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insisted that Wishere was good enough to play again at the highest level as he did on 141 occasions between 2008 and 2020.
The Spaniard said: “Yes, 100 per cent!
"I have seen that, I can tell that he has [the ability to do so].”
Before adding when asked if that could be at Arsenal: "That’s a different story!"
