Manchester United players have instantly taken to Bruno Fernandes, reports say. The Portugal international has flourished since moving to Old Trafford in January, catching the eye in matches against Watford, Club Brugge, Chelsea and Wolves so far.
Manchester United spent the summer being linked with Fernandes and, in the New Year, decided to bring the Portugal international to Old Trafford.
And though it’s early days, the 25-year-old has done enough to suggest that he’ll live up to his big £46million price tag.
Fernandes’ start to life at United has been positive, with the former Sporting Lisbon star recently terrorising Watford in a 3-0 win.
Before that, he’d impressed in two draws against Club Brugge and Wolves – as well as in the 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Behind the scenes, Fernandes has been vocal within the dressing room.
Though he’s new to the club, he hasn’t hesitated to speak out and tell his team-mates both what he thinks and what he expects of them.

And the South China Morning Post say that United players have responded positively to Fernandes’ words behind the scenes.
They’ve reportedly taking his words on board and it appears he’s already grown close to several members of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
Fernandes treated Diogo Dalot, Juan Mata and David De Gea to dinner just a few weeks after arriving.
He’s also exchanged jokes with Anthony Martial on social media, making the Frenchman smile (which is no mean feat).
And Fernandes, on the pitch, has regularly received the ball from fellow midfielders Fred and Nemanja Matic in order to dictate play.

Solskjaer, certainly, has been delighted with the impact of the midfielder since his January arrival.
“We feel we’ve added some X factor and quality with Bruno,” the Norwegian said on Wednesday afternoon.
“The addition of Bruno gives us that little bit of a different flavour. He’s a player who likes to play penetrative passes, forward passes.
“He likes to task risks, which a Man United player should do.”
Solskjaer also singled out Fernandes’ passing game as a particular quality of the United star.
“I think his imagination, or his overview, his picture, is a couple of seconds ahead of other players,” the 46-year-old added.
“That’s one of his strengths: knowing what he wants to do when he gets it.
“He also can change his mind in a split second. If that picture doesn’t work as he thought, he’ll change it. I think that composure has been important for us as well.”
Fernandes is expected to start when United go up against Club Brugge in their Europa League clash on Thursday (8pm).
The Red Devils salvaged a draw in the first leg in Belgium, with Martial scoring to earn them a crucial away goal.
