Scott Parker is hoping to add at least two centre backs and a midfielder to his squad who have started the season with four straight defeats.
Loftus-Cheek is high on the list of midfielders with Frank Lampard admitting he may be allowed to leave to get regular football.

Rostov’s Mathias Normann is another name under consideration.
The list of centre-backs is lengthy – Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo, Lyon’s Joachim Andersen, PSV’s Timo Baumgartl, Sampdoria’s Omar Colley are among the names in the mix.
Sportsmail reported on Monday morning that the club have opened talks with Lyon for the 24-year-old Andersen.

Andersen has also attracted interest from clubs in Italy but would prefer a Premier League if a deal can be thrashed out with Lyon.
Fulham have asked about an initial loan and it is understood talks will continue throughout deadline day.
The club also remain in talks with Barcelona for Todibo but face competition from Bologna.
