How the draw is going to work

We will get two draws today with it split into a north and south.

The Northern Section of the draw, which has 25 teams, is generally drawn first and then the 38 Southern teams will find out their fate.

The last team left in the Northern Section gets a bye to the first round proper – and the fourth round qualifying prize money of £9,375.

We will provide the ball numbers before the 1pm start…

Who enters the fourth qualifying round?

The National League teams enter at this stage with all 23 being involved. It would normally be 24 but the demise of Macclesfield Town means we are one light.

17 teams have made it through from the National Leagues North and South with 13 from Step 3.

Nine Step 4 clubs will be hoping for a glamorous tie while Skelmersdale United are the sole Step 5 outfit still in the competition.
