Every Premier League team’s luckiest and least favourite referee is proven

Manchester United will be hoping Kevin Friend is not named referee for any of their upcoming Premier League fixtures.

Research from Paddy Power has shown that the Red Devils have won just one of their matches that Friend has been in charge of in recent years.

The new research dates back to the start of the 2016/17 season with 17 of the 20 clubs having failed to win any matches with a particular unfavourable referee.

Liverpool have a 100 per cent win percentage when Chris Kavanagh is referee, while Arsenal are also on form when Graham Scott is in charge.

Anthony Taylor is United’s most favourable referee with the Old Trafford outfit winning 14 of 18 games when he is in the middle.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are the only teams to have won at least one game with all of the current crop of Premier League refs.

Referees were only included if they had officiated three or more games per team and Daily Star Sport has the win percentages for the best and worst for each side.
