Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly identified Lille defender Gabriel as a main target for the summer transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the 22-year-old is a main target at Goodison Park and Everton are not put off by a mooted £30m asking price.
He is Brazilian but has yet to play for the national side. He is 6ft 3, and has played 32 times for the Ligue 1 club already this season, including against Chelsea in the Champions League.

The publication reports that Ancelotti wants a new central defender as a priority in the summer transfer window.
Everton are currently 11th in the Premier League after a 3-2 defeat by Arsenal on Sunday but are only four points away from the top six.
They are bidding to seal European football ahead of Carlo Ancelotti’s first full season at Goodison Park but have a hard fixture list ahead.

The Toffees face Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester and Tottenham in five of their next six Premier League matches.
Meanwhile in France, Lille are fourth and four points clear of Monaco in fifth in Ligue 1.
They finished last in Group H in the Champions League this season, so they dropped out of European football altogether rather than going into the Europa League.
