Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was overheard yelling at one of his men during his side’s friendly victory against Crystal Palace.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho got on the scoresheet as the Red Devils ran out 3-1 winners in Melbourne. In the dying embers of the match, the ball was passed back to David de Gea in goal. The Spanish veteran decided to hit a long ball – at which point it looked like Charlite Savage failed to drop back and give his team-mate in net an extra option.
Dutchman Ten Hag, 52, was caught in TV footage with the pitchside microphones picking up him screaming, “what the f*** are you doing?” Some fans thought the rant was aimed at the youngster, while others believed it was goalkeeper De Gea was feeling Ten Hag's wrath. Footage of the incident has done the rounds on social media, with fans having their say on the matter.

One wrote: “I have a feeling we're going to hear this a lot this season.” Another said: “I like this. Couple mins left, he probably thought, game is dead I can probably get away with just blasting one up the pitch instead of playing out. Absolutely not.” A third wrote: “Definitely says Charlie. But I don’t really know what de gea is doing either.” Someone wrote: “De Gea literally isn't capable of doing anything else so are we going to see Cech vs City opening day 18/19 for a full season?.”
Ten Hag was overheard earlier this month slamming some of the United team, saying that they were ‘making too many mistakes’ during a drill. He was also overheard hitting out at United players for ‘making too many mistakes’ during a simple passing exercise in one of his first sessions as manager.

The former Ajax boss has also implemented a new fitness schedule to the side. “When you want to get results, you need a team,” he said in a recent press conference.
“It is organisation, co-operation, and also you need discipline. When there is no discipline around, you will not find it on the pitch as well.
“I’m quite severe on such issues. I will tell every player what I expect of them. I have high standards because you are here, you are playing for Manchester United, then you must bring it every day on the pitch. Why are you not acting to your standards? That is an expectation I have.”
