England strolled into the semi-finals of Euro 2020 by thrashing Ukraine 4-0 in Rome on Saturday.
The Three Lions hardly looked troubled in their last-eight clash with goals in the opening stages of each half sealing the deal.
Harry Kane gave England the lead in the first half before Harry Maguire doubled the lead minutes after the break.
Kane netted his second moments later with substitute Jordan Henderson scoring his first England goal to put the cherry on top.
But there were a number of other fine performers in the Italian capital with Daily Star Sport ranking each England star…
Jordan Pickford 7 – Absolutely screams at his defenders and refuses to let them switch off. Big early save set tone
Kyle Walker 5 – Constantly caught out of position. Sloppy first-half ball almost gifted Ukraine a goal. A really dodgy performance
John Stones 7 – Quietly having a fabulous tournament. Reads the game so well and only dives in when he has to. Looks full of confidence
Harry Maguire 7 – Scored a fantastic header from a free kick and mopped up any danger with total confidence. So composed
Luke Shaw 8 – Two assists. Such a threat going forward. Intelligent runs and great delivery. Could have scored himself
Declan Rice 7 – Blockbuster shot saved. Pressed and harried and stopped Ukraine playing. Has a huge future
Kalvin Phillips 7 – Always aware of danger. Always closing people down. Always finding space and giving out instructions. Another impressive performance
Jadon Sancho 7 – What a week for the Manchester United-bound winger. Danced past players and pinged one-touch passes all over the shop
Mason Mount 7 – Covidiot was back in action and full of running. Outstanding goal saving tackle and caused problems with his movement
Raheem Sterling 9 – The first name on the teamsheet. Created the opener and absolutely terrified defenders. Undroppable
Harry Kane 8 – Suddenly looks like the world class goalscorer he is again. Why did we worry? Feed the captain and he will score
Jordan Henderson 7 (for Rice 57): Scored from a Mount corner and generally put himself about
Jude Bellingham 6 (for Phillips 65): Brought on to save his team-mate from another booking and a ban
Kieran Trippier 6 (for Shaw 65): So reliable. Slotted in with ease like he’d never been away
Marcus Rashford 6 (for Sterling 65): Played it safe and kept coming short to receive the ball
Dominic Calvert-Lewin 6 (for Kane 73): Made good runs and got stuck in on his first appearance at the finals
