Cristiano Ronaldo trolled by Spartak as wantaway left with dwindling options

Wantaway Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been brutally mocked by Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow.

Multiple outlets have reported that the 37-year-old wants to leave the Red Devils this summer, should a suitable offer arrive for the Portuguese megastar. However, new United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed he wants Ronaldo as part of his plans this season.

Spartak tweeted a 'leaked' Twitter message, where it appeared Ronaldo had messaged the Russian side 'Hi, Spartak', to which they responded 'no'. Spartak tweeted out the edited image, and they said: "Pain again. But not for us this time."

The Ten Hag era is underway at United, and the Red Devils are starting to learn the ways of their new boss in Australia.

United jetted off to Thailand last week to face Liverpool, before they continued their pre-season tour down under with a win against Melbourne Victory. However, Ronaldo isn't with his teammates – citing 'family reasons'.

Instead, Ronaldo is currently training alone, sparking rumours he's attempting to force his way out of Old Trafford.
