Chelsea are still looking to add to their squad despite already spending big money during this transfer window.
The £97million signing of Romelu Lukaku certainly looks like money well spent, after he made a positive start to his second spell at Stamford Bridge.
A new midfielder appears to be the top priority for the current Champions League holders.
Aurelien Tchouameni and Saul Niguez are amongst the names linked with a move to the club.
The West London are also looking to offload players, with Malang Sarr potentially on the way out, either on loan or permanently.
We are on hand to provide all the news, with the latest Blues transfer gossip below.
Bid being considered for Tchouameni
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco.
The 21-year-old joined his current club last summer from fellow Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.
After some impressive displays, the midfielder caught the eye, with Chelsea keen to add him to their ranks before the end of the window, according to 90min.
Monaco would listen to offers of over £30million, after signing him for half that price.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are reportedly in the most advanced talks and would be willing to let him return to his current club on loan.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with Tchouameni.

Chelsea keeping a close eye on Saul Niguez
Rumours about Saul Niguez’s Atletico Madrid future have been circulating all summer.
Liverpool and Manchester United have both been linked with the Spanish international but no move has materialised.
Reportedly Chelsea is the latest side to be monitoring the midfielder and are exploring the possibilities of bringing him in on loan, CaughtOffside say.
Discussions have already taken place but remain in the early stages.
Tuchel’s side have also been linked with the likes of Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham, as they look to bolster their midfield.
Everton join race for Malang Sarr
Chelsea youngster Malang Sarr is attracting plenty of attention this window as multiple clubs look for his signature.
Everton are amongst the teams interested, Gianluca Di Marzio reports, but they face tough competition from Bologna for the 22-year-old, who is valued around £9million.
The Italian club already have talks lined up with Sarr’s agent, but his salary could be a potential issue.
The defender arrived at Stamford Bridge from Nice last summer, only to be instantly sent out on loan to Porto.
Thomas Tuchel does not see Sarr as part of his current plans, and is open to letting him go, with Eintracht Frankfurt also interested.
