Tammy Abraham is the latest player to be added to Chelsea’s growing injury list after the 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich. Serge Gnabry’s brace and Robert Lewandowski’s strike doomed the Blues to a heavy loss at Stamford Bridge which gives Bayern a major advantage ahead of the return fixture at the Allianz Arena.
Hopefully he will be [back] in three weeks, something around that
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard
The Blues’ night got even worse when Abraham was challenged by Jerome Boateng and both players stayed down after the tackle.
The England international played through the pain but it appears like he has suffered more damage after overcoming a recent ankle injury.
Frank Lampard will be in need of all of his top stars for the second leg against Bayern as well as the rest of the Premier League campaign as he targets a top-four finish.

Tammy Abraham was introduced to the match after 61 minutes when Serge Gnabry completed a brace in just three minutes.
But his clash with Jerome Boateng appears to have caused him more problems even though he played until full time.
The striker took part in a post-game warm-down session which he was unable to complete as he limped down the tunnel.
Frank Lampard has yet to comment on his leading scorer’s fitness but an appearance against Bournemouth on Saturday at Dean Court (3pm) doesn’t look certain.

N’Golo Kante limped out during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester United last week and Frank Lampard confirmed it was an adductor injury.
Lampard added that he is hoping to have his star midfielder back in three weeks, which means he may return in time for the match against Aston Villa on March 14 at Villa Park (5.30pm).
Lampard said: “It’s an adductor injury. We will have to assess it, scan it. But it doesn’t look great.
“N’Golo [Kante] is not fit. He has got a muscle injury [adductor], similar to the one he came off recently against Arsenal with. Hopefully he will be [back] in three weeks, something around that.”
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is stepping up his recovery from a ruptured achilles as he was included in the squad against Tottenham on Saturday.
Loftus-Cheek was an unused substitute against Spurs and wasn’t included in the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
However, an appearance against Bournemouth in the weekend can’t be ruled out.
Christian Pulisic hasn’t featured for Chelsea ever since New Year’s Day after suffering a groin injury.
Frank Lampard doesn’t know when Pulisic will be back to action and he seems certain to miss the clash against Bournemouth.
Lampard said: “Christian Pulisic is still not fit. At the moment I can’t give you an exact date [as to when he will be back]. It is a difficult injury. We are working with that.”
