Brighton star Ben White ‘swiftly deletes sex playlist’ after being caught by fan

Brighton defender Ben White had to act quickly after being caught out by a fan on Spotify.

The 23-year-old has been a regular starter under Graham Potter this season having helped Leeds to promotion from the Championship and being tipped for a potential England call-up in the process.

Although the Seagulls have had a poor run of form in the Premier League and White has impressed in both central defence and central midfield, he might have had his head in his hands this week.

While taking a look at the playlists attached to what appeared to be his personal Spotify account, a Twitter user spotted one that was simply named ‘sex’.

However, another update posted shortly after shows that playlist in question had been removed, leaving behind the lists of; changing room, 2020, Kanye West ft Drake, Rihanna, chill and good.

White has made 18 Premier League appearances for Brighton so far this season, helping the club to three wins and eight draws with four clean sheets.

There was plenty of debate over his future before the season began, with Leeds’ Kalvin Phillips suggesting that his former team-mate was keen to return to Elland Road.

Phillips told Leeds That podcast: “Obviously he was gutted at the time when he didn’t sign.

“But it came to a point where you have to just forget about the chance to play for Leeds and just play football.

“I don’t really talk to him about football now, just ask how he and his family are doing.”

With Potter saying after White signed a contract until 2024 back in September: “I have been looking forward to working with Ben for a long time.

“He was a player I was well aware of, even before I came to the club.

“He has gradually stepped up the EFL divisions, with Newport County, Peterborough United and Leeds United.

“He had a brilliant season helping Leeds to the title last season, and now he has the opportunity to show his qualities in the Premier League.”
