The big transfer news for Arsenal last week was the deadline day signing of Thomas Partey, brought in for £45million from Atletico Madrid.
With that addition, the Gunners brought to an end a productive window, though they could still look to bring in players from the Football League until October 16 if they so choose.
There are also still several players in the squad whose futures remain in doubt, and there could yet be some exits as Arteta looks to trim down his squad.
Here is the Arsenal transfer round-up on Saturday, October 10.
Ozil subject of offers from Saudi Arabia
Mesut Ozil could make a “lucrative” move to Saudi Arabia as speculation over his Arsenal future continues.
According to the Transfer Window Podcast, an unnamed club in the country may be willing to take the Germany international off Arsenal’s hands.
“I understand that Saudi Arabia’s interest in Premier League players doesn’t end with Juan Mata,” said journalist Duncan Castles.
“There has also been a proposal to Mesut Ozil which would go down very well with the hierarchy at Arsenal if they managed to get Ozil off their books.
“They have left him out of their Europa League squad and have been trying to get him to accept a settlement on his contract for some time now unsuccessfully.
“They watched him do a very intelligent and quite amusing public relations move in going on social media to back your favourite Gunnersaurus and guarantee that he would cover Gunnersaurus’ wages for as long as he remained at the club.
“I believe Ozil has turned that move down partly because of his relationships and history with Turkey, who do not have the best of diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia at present.”

Keown questions ‘bizarre’ transfer decision
Martin Keown has expressed his doubt over Arsenal’s decision to loan out William Saliba again.
The 19-year-old defender spent last season at St Etienne but was expected to fight for a place in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI this term.
Now, though, he looks to be on the verge of another loan move, with Brentford amongst one of several Championship clubs believed to be interested.
“It’s bizarre. We’ve just not seen the kid. You want to see him to see how he performs, say, in the Championship to see if he’s good enough,” Keown told TalkSPORT.
“I’m anxious to see. The feeling was that this was going to be the one. Gabriel has come in and been an outstanding signing. Maybe they feel he’s too young and want him to go out to pastures new.
“To then loan him out when there was a real problem there last season seems a real mystery.”

Arsenal planning January move for RB Salzburg midfielder
Arsenal are monitoring RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai ahead of a potential January move, according to the Guardian.
Technical director Edu has identified the 19-year-old as a top target after the club failed to sign Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.
PSG, Napoli and Milan are also believed to be interested in Szoboszlai, so Arsenal could face some competition for his signature.
The Hungary international has started the new season quickly, scoring three goals and providing three assists in his first six appearances for Salzburg.
