Arsenal stars past and present hail Serge Gnabry after Bayern ace trolls Chelsea

Current and former Arsenal stars have hailed Serge Gnabry after the Bayern Munich ace trolled Chelsea in wake of Tuesday's Champions League win.

The Bundesliga champions beat Frank Lampard's Blues 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, putting Bayern in complete control of the Round of 16 tie ahead of the second leg in Germany on March 18.

Former Gunner Gnabry netted a second-half brace against the 2011/12 Champions League winners, with Robert Lewandowski rounding off the scoring with his customary goal 15 minutes before full time.

The comfortable away victory leaves Chelsea with the mammoth task of beating Bayern by three goals in Munich next month to at least force extra time and keep their dwindling hopes of advancing to the quarter-finals alive.

The Blues will have to do so without defender Marcos Alonso and midfield ace Jorginho however, with respective red and yellow cards ensuring the pair will be suspended for the second leg.

It was a tough evening for Chelsea, who will now likely have to focus on a top four Premier League finish to book their spot in next year's premier European competition.
