After a wild and winding few months of the pre-draft process, the NFL Draft is finally here, with no shortage of mysteries or questions entering this year’s edition. It’s felt like an eternity since the 49ers shook up the top of the draft with their blockbuster deal that netted them the No. 3 overall pick.

Now, we get to all take in and get our questions answered entering the 2021 season. Luckily for you, fair viewer, the 2021 draft will be available on multiple platforms, networks and is kind for cord cutters, as well.

Here’s what you need to know about the start of the 2021 NFL Draft tonight:

What time does the NFL Draft start today?

Thursday’s first round of the 2021 NFL Draft gets underway in primetime at 8 p.m. ET. The draft is being held in Cleveland, Ohio, and 13 NFL Draft prospects will be in attendance in Cleveland, while another 45 are expected to make their appearances virtually.

Each team will have 10 minutes to make a selection, meaning the draft should finish up around midnight, give or take a bit, on the east coast. 

What channel is the NFL Draft on today?

ABC, ESPN and NFL Network will be carrying all three days of the NFL Draft. 

NFL Network’s broadcast group features Rich Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis and David Shaw at the desk. ESPN counters with Mike Greenberg, Louis Riddick, Mel Kiper, Booger McFarland, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter. Suzy Kolber will also be on set.

Rece Davis and college football analysts Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit will bring the ABC broadcast on all three days. Davis hosts an ESPN/ABC simulcast on Day 3.

All three networks will be carrying all three rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft from first pick to last, starting on Thursday, April 29 and ending on Saturday, May 1.

The Jets, Jaguars and Ravens all have multiple first-round picks this year. Many expect the Jaguars to select Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick, while the Jets will likely select BYU passer Zach Wilson at No. 2.
