The media barrage Joe Burrow completed this fall and winter while winning the Heisman Trophy and national championship allowed him to show his sense of humor.
The former LSU Tigers quarterback displayed his comedic side again on Twitter on Monday after his hand size was measured at nine inches at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis. No first-round quarterback since 2008 has had a smaller measurement, with Ryan Tannehill and Jared Goff having tied the mark at their respective combines.
"Considering retirement after I was informed the football will be slipping out of my tiny hands," Burrow wrote. "Please keep me in your thoughts."
Last year's top pick, Kyler Murray, had his hands measured at 9 1/2 inches on his 5-foot-10 frame. Regardless of hand size, Burrow is expected to be selected first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in April.

Burrow and the Tigers rolled to a perfect 15-0 record in 2019-20, with the QB completing 76.3% of his passes for 60 touchdowns and 5,671 passing yards.
