MLB playoff bracket 2020: Updated TV schedule, scores, results for the Wild Card Series

In a word: wild.

Not without its speedbumps, the 60-game MLB regular season has officially concluded, giving way to the debut of the Wild Card Series this upcoming Tuesday. And wild it shall be.

With expanded playoffs coming in a big way this postseason, Tuesday debuts a new playoff structure that may be here to stay in coming years: In both the AL and NL, eight teams from each league will engage in a best-of-three series hosted in the higher-seeded team’s ballpark. For the first time in baseball history, two sub-.500 teams (Brewers, Astros) make the dance.

Fans of hardball know that anything can go in a three-game series, meaning don’t be surprised if you see some upsets in the opening round of the playoff structure this year.
