Former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Kyle Long signs with agent, plans NFL comeback

The Long family legacy has apparently not seen its last day in the NFL.

Kyle Long, the son of Hall of Famer Howie and younger brother of Chris, plans to make a professional comeback and has hired Jeff Nalley of Select Sports Group to represent him, according to Chris Long's podcast, "Green Light Pod."

Chris Long himself confirmed the news on Twitter.

The Chicago Bears drafted Kyle Long with the 20th overall pick in the 2013 draft, and he spent seven seasons with the team. Long, who primarily played right guard, made the Pro Bowl in his first three seasons before injuries cost him time in each of the next four years; he never played more than 10 games after 2015.

Following the 2019 season, Long announced he was walking away from the game and did not play in 2020.

Long, 32, currently weighs 315 pounds, per "Green Light."
