Tyron Woodley insists he will ‘knock Jake Paul out’ during their fight on August 28 after training with Floyd Mayweather.
The former UFC champion – who will be making his professional boxing debut when he meets unbeaten Paul next month – says the YouTuber’s team have been ‘gassing him up too much’ and that their appraisal of his abilities will ‘get him f**ked up’.
Woodley believes he will not only ‘beat Paul up’ during their highly-anticipated bout next month, but that he can take on his brother Logan Paul next.

Speaking to the Michael Bisping Podcast ahead of the fight, Woodley said: ‘At the end of the day, he’s gonna get beat up. He’s gonna get knocked out.
‘Hopefully, it’s not too bad because what’s happening is, his people are gassing him up that he can win.
‘He accepted this fight, and I was very surprised he accepted this fight.
‘They’re gassing him up, and they’re giving him that, “You’ve got the power, he’s old, he ain’t won a fight a million years, you the younger, more hungry, he’s taking you lightly, you can beat him.”

He also claims he can take on the YouTube stars brother – Logan Paul (above) afterwards
‘They’re lying to this kid, and they’re gonna get him f**ked up.
‘So, what’s gonna happen is, I’m gonna beat him, I’m gonna knock him out, and hopefully it’s not too bad where he doesn’t want to do it again because I want to take the money again.
‘I want to rob the bank twice. So that’s the plan. I really don’t have smoke with his brother Logan but s**t, after he sees what I do to his brother, he might want to get the hands too.’
Woodley previously reigned the UFC welterweight division between 2016 and 2018, but is now without a win in three years.
As a result, he was let go by UFC in the aftermath of four successive defeats at the hands of Colby Covington, Kamaru Usman, Gilbert Burns and Vicente Luque respectively.

He will be making his professional boxing debut and has hired the 50-0 unbeaten former boxer
Nevertheless, Woodley believes he can bring his opponent’s unbeaten record to a shuddering halt when they face each other in August.
Woodley also believes he holds the upper hand heading into the fight after enlisting the services of Floyd Mayweather to help him train.
Mayweather’s involvement or duration of training Woodley is unclear but it was the 44-year-old who first reached out to the 39-year-old last month.
‘Get me Tyron Woodley,’ Mayweather told reporters in early June. ‘I’m gonna make sure I get him in camp, and I’m gonna train him for this fight.
‘I want Tyron Woodley to come to Las Vegas and work with us.’
